Quetta Johnston Nelson Hamblin passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025. She was born on May 24, 1944, to the late Ralph "Frosty" Johnston and Edith Johnston. She attended Cushman schools and married Walter Nelson in 1962. She worked at White Rodgers in Batesville for more than 25 years. She loved playing cards, family vacations, and the Arkansas Razorback basketball games.

Quetta is survived by her sister, Dianne Melton; her children, Randall Nelson (Ashley) and Robin Nelson Norris; grandchildren, Cory Brett Gann (Shawn) and Brennan Norris (Jessi); and great-grandchildren, Jase Pierce Nelson, Milo Norris, Conan Gann, John Lucas Childress, and Emily Tune.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10 am at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.
