Paul Edward Henson, 80, passed away on January 3, 2022. He was born to R.A. Henson and Elma Mae Parker Henson on April 29, 1941, in Lake City, Arkansas.

Paul was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Newark First Baptist Church. He was passionate about raising hunting dogs, enjoyed fishing, and loved watching the Cardinals play ball on tv. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him.

He is survived by his son, Paul Wayne Henson (Tiffany); daughters, Colista Henson Foster, Paula Henson, and Tina Brown; brother, G.W. Henson; sister, Earlene Gregory; grandchildren, Kaylan Henson, Garnett Henson, Laura Foster, Sarah Foster, Christopher Foster, Michael Foster, Kailey Foxworthy, Mariah Smart, and Dakota Brown; great-grandchildren, Emily Barringer, Bristol Wright, and Jackson Trowell. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ray Henson and James Henson; sisters, Betty Henson Haltom and Janice Henson; and grandsons, Cody Martin and Dylan Martin.

A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A memorial service, officiated by Todd Childers, will follow the visitation, starting at 11 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Arkansas State Police or Arkansas Hospice.
