Patricia Ann Joan Hutchison, 78, of Sulphur Rock passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2024, surrounded by close family following a long battle with cancer. Joan was born May 24, 1945, in Magness, Arkansas to the late William Dee and Sarah Stella (Stewart) Allen. Joan was a retiree from ConAgra Foods after 30 plus years of service. She was a Christian woman who was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Rock, and who loved to spend her time quilting, sewing, embroidering, and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Yolanda Stoner (Jason) of Sulphur Rock, two grandsons, Jason William Stoner (Jennifer) of Cushman and Chancey Lain Stoner (Haley) of Saffell, a granddaughter, Michelle Treadway of Sulphur Rock, six great grandchildren Jayden, Caleigh, Kinley, Claire, Kodie, and Bella and one brother, Andrew Allen (Mary) of Independence, MO and one sister, Lois Johnson of Eldorado, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. She is proceeded in death by a daughter Patricia Ann Hutchison, and seven sisters and three brothers.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. First Pentecostal Church of Sulphur Rock, AR, will host the memorial service on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The service, officiated by Bro. Danny Rodgers, will begin at 2 p.m. immediately followed by a time of visitation that will last until 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the WRMC Cancer Care Center of Batesville.
The family would like to say thank you to the following: Dr. Kevin Falwall, Dr. Raman Diesken, Dr. Julia Roulier, and the nurses and staff members of WRMS Cancer Care Center and Oncology Department along with the staff at Arkansas Hospice Batesville Branch.
