Ora Mae Pearlene Bixler, 82, of Oil Trough passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 in Batesville. She was born August 8, 1931 in Marrietta, Oklahoma to Ira James Daniel and Ollie McCracken Daniel. Pearlene married J.C. Bixler on March 7, 1952. She worked for Hagar Slacks in Duncan, Oklahoma, helped run her family's car wash and service station and most recently was a homemaker. Mrs. Bixler retired and moved to Oil Trough in 1999. She was an avid camper and loved to cook. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of sixty one years; J.C. Bixler of the home; two daughters, Linda Tubbs of Batesville and Laura Sohl of Oil Trough; three sisters Bert Hardy, Marcel Wise, and Cloma Allen; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. There are no services planned.
