Opal Wallis, 87, passed away April 15th 2017. She was born April 22nd, 1929. She was preceded in death by her mother Hazel McKee and her father Johnny Jackson; her brother Johnny "Junior" Jackson; her sister Joyce Humble; and one granddaughter Denise Wallis. She is survived by her husband Harold Wallis; one son Dennis Wallis of Bryant; one daughter Judy Stone of Round Rock, Texas; two granddaughters Crystal Buck of Pflugerville, Texas and Allison Croft of Round Rock Texas; and three great-grandchildren Justin Buck, Shelby Buck, and Haley Croft. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18th from 6-8 PM at Willis Funeral Service of Batesville; and the funeral will be Wednesday April 19th at 10 AM at Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville. Burial will follow at the Barnes Cemetery of Bethesda. Pallbearers include: Justin Buck, John Croft, Luther Buck, Dan Stone, Rocky Morgan, and Laddy Barber.
