Ollive Van (O V) Henley died on 09/11/2019 in Batesville at the age of 91. She was born July 14, 1928, to Henry and Millie Patterson in High Rock. O V was a long-time member of Charlotte Church of Christ, past member of Charlotte Extension Club, and deeply loved her family and large number of friends. She was known for her garden, quilts, outgoing personality, and willingness to help anyone. She will be missed by her family and church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Vaughn Patterson, and her sister Floy Simko.

Survivors include 3 sons:  Randy Henley (Brenda) of Charlotte, Danny Henley (Pam) of Haskell, and Mike Henley (Becky) of South Dakota. 10 grandchildren:  Trevor Henley (Becca); Robert Henley (Sam); Amanda Henley; Christopher Henley; Michelle Carter (Steven); Rachel Wright; Amy Wright; Billy Henley (Jill); Shelley McKee (John); Kelley Mitchell (Chris), and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 14 at 10 AM at Charlotte Church of Christ with Bro. Chuck Crow officiating. Burial will follow at Young Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be all her grandsons, and include Todd Henley, Don Henley, and Melvin Henley.

The family would like to thank Community Compassion Center for the wonderful care and love provided to O V while she lived there.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to her church she loved, in her memory.
