Ocee Foy Hughes Sr., 86, passed away December 16th, 2016. He was born December 13th, 1930 to Jared Woodard Hughes and Clara Mae (Stroud) Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Shelby Hughes; two daughters Sandra Hughes and Rebekah Hughes; two brothers J.W. Hughes and Herbert Hughes; and four sisters: Beatrice Tugwell, Shirley Pectrol, Fay Garrison, and Imajean Thompson. He is survived by two sons Ocee Hughes Jr. and Woody Hughes; one daughter Sonya Owens; and three grandchildren: Ciana Hughes, Daniel Hughes, and Jared "JJ" Hughes. Visitation will be Thursday December 22nd from 6-8 PM and the funeral service will be Friday, December 23rd at 2 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at the New Hope Cemetery near Bethesda.
