Though her life was only measured in a few short weeks, it was filled with love, hope, and joy! Baby Nevaeh Ahuva Briley was born into Heaven to be held in the arms of God on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
“Even though the hardest thing we have to do as parents is say goodbye, I know that God had a reason. And though we may not know the reason, we know you’re in God’s good hands in heaven, watching over us as we carry you with us in our hearts, praying until the day we see you again. Nevah is survived by her parents, Elijah Alan Briley and Zitlalli Juanita Benavides; her grandparents, Jonathan and Jammie Ahrent of Cave City, Juan and Lucy Benavides of Batesville, and Jason and Penny Briley of Paragould; Her great grandparents, Kathy Briley of Cave City, Calvin and Brenda Rudick of Cave City, and Dale and Maryann Briley of Cave City; Her aunts and uncles. Marcus and Chloe Rudick, with Allana and Rinley of Cave City, Jacob and Kaylee Rudick, with Bailey of Cave City, Natalie Jimena Benavides of Batesville, Jared Alexander Benavides of Batesville, and Samantha Ziurabeth Benavides of Mexico; her great-aunts and uncles, Sharron Briley of Cave City, Lori Riggs of Cave City, Martin and Fabiola Lopez of Little Rock. She was also dearly loved by many extended family members. She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Gene and Juanita Rudick, Raymond and Daisy McIntosh, Gelasio and Reyna Benavides, Effie and Bill Barnett, and Edith and Virgil Cornish; and her uncle, Juan David Benavides.
