Wilma Lee Melton 83, of Batesville passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Batesville. She was born March 2, 1932 in Alpena Arkansas to Ralph H. Johnston and Orelia Johnston. She was a homemaker, loved sewing, and a Prayer Warrior. Survivors include her husband of 65 years Coby Melton of Batesville; her son, Jimmy Melton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her daughters, Anna Mae Howard, and Betty Brock both of Batesville, two sisters; Dianne Melton of Batesville, and Quetta Hamblin of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Paul Howard Melton, Timothy Melton, one daughter Jane Melton, two sisters, and seven brothers. Services will be held Sunday, September 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Jubilee Family Church in Batesville with Reverend Tony Hammack, and Reverend Steve Gunther officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Batesville. Pallbearers are her grandsons and great grandsons. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 6, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Chapel.
