Mildred Loretta (Adams) Larsen, 82, of Batesville, AR, died on Thursday, August 17, 2023. She was born on February 4, 1941, in Grubbs, AR, to the late Harvey Adams and Alta (Farris) Adams, and she was of the Christian faith. Mildred was a loving and caring mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Everything that Mildred enjoyed doing was made better by being able to do it with family. She loved to go camping with her family. She loved traveling with her family (especially on family vacations to Tunica, MS, to visit the casinos). Mildred enjoyed preparing meals and gathering on holidays and special occasions. She especially cherished the time she spent with all of her grandchildren (she was the senior of 5 generations). Some of her other hobbies include gardening and planting flowers. She also loved to work in the family business, Larsen Concessions. She enjoyed the opportunity to greet and serve people at their concession stands at many local festivals and events. Mildred will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Mildred is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Don Larsen; her sisters, Martha McElrath, and Laverne Bennett; her brother, James Adams; and her grandsons, Eric Larsen and Travis Baxter. She is survived by her son, Kirby Larsen (Melissa Ann); her daughter, Debbie Norman; her sisters, Brenda Neal and Noma Mitchell; 8 grandchildren, Kevin Larsen, Pam Baxter (Andy), Brandon Larsen, Joshua Larsen, Brian Larsen, Stephanie Larsen, Nathaniel Gray, and Karen Gray; her 8 great-grandchildren, Blake Baxter (Taylor) and Vanessa Hendrix (Dave), and 6 other great-grandchildren; her 9 great-great-grandchildren, Paisley, Olivia, Liam, Brandtly, Arabella, Cambree, Aspen, Lillian, and Lainey; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Bro. Joe Insell, will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 10 a.m. Both services will be at Willis Funeral Service's Chapel in Batesville, AR. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral service at Egner Cemetery in Southside (Salado), AR. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be, Blake Baxter, Andy Baxter, Ricky Gordon, Dave Hendrix, Beau Slagle, and Monty Anderson. The family would like to recognize the following people as honorary pallbearers, Liam Baxter, Brandtly Williams, Joshua Larsen, Brandon Larsen, Brian Larsen, and Kevin Larsen.
