Michael Ray Tipton, 69, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away at his home on May 19, 2026. He was born on June 30, 1956, in Greenville, Texas, to the late Denzil Wayne Tipton and Bobbie Jean Bowman.
Michael was a hardworking man who dedicated many years to construction as both an owner and worker. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit. Outside of work, Michael enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing, camping, and spending cherished time with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and relaxing with a cold beer now and then while making memories with those he loved most.
Michael was of the Methodist faith and attended White Drive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Denzil Wayne Tipton and Bobbie Jean Bowman; the love of his life, Terry Pearson; his brother, Steven Tipton; and his sister, Deborah Burns.
He is survived by his children, Angie Martin of Austin, Texas, Kyla Hayes and husband Raymond of Batesville, Arkansas, Heather Marquez of Kokomo, Indiana, and Joey Ulerick and wife ShaIra of Kokomo, Indiana; his grandchildren, Martin Marquez, Katelynn Edington, Madison Edington, Justin Carmona, Dakota Watts, Taighlar Watts, Desteny Marroquin, Reagan Hayes, Dayton Dixon, and Malaysia Marquez; one great-grandchild, Kolsen Watts; one brother, Gary Wayne Tipton of Batesville, Arkansas; one sister, Tamara Sneed of Ash Flat, Arkansas; along with many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him.
Michael will be remembered for his love of family, his hardworking nature, and the simple joys he found in life. His memory will forever be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
There will be a celebration of Michael's life on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, beginning at 3 PM at Harbor Lights Temple in Batesville, AR.
