Michael Glenn Sutterfield SR. passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 60. He was born April 15, 1961, in Newport, AR to the late William Thomas and Ivy Jeanette (Westerman) Sutterfield.

Whether it was fishing or feeding the deer in his backyard, Mike loved being outdoors. He was also an avid craftsman and antique car enthusiast. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose memory will be forever cherished by those that knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas Sutterfield and Ivy Jeanette (Westerman) Sutterfield; and brothers, Keith Sutterfield, Marcus Sutterfield, Jerry Sutterfield, and Gerald Sutterfield.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Sutterfield; son, Michael Glenn Sutterfield JR. (Amanda); daughter, Melody Patrick (Tim); brothers, Dwayne Sutterfield and Kenny Sutterfield; sisters, Shirley Thomas and Linda Smith; and grandchildren, Piper Patrick, Adeline Sutterfield, and Jackson Sutterfield.

Visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Bobby Womack, will follow visitation, starting at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.
