Michael Lee Petty, 75, of Batesville, AR, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. He was born on September 11, 1944, in Paragould, Arkansas, but grew up in Pocahontas, AR.

Michael was a loving father, husband, best big brother, and friend who will be missed by all who loved him. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gun enthusiast. His family knew him as a man of faith and was the strongest person they knew.

He will be remembered by his wife, Sally Petty; sons, Benjamin Petty (Victoria), Jonathan Petty, Brian Petty (Kimberly), Matthew Petty (and family); brothers, Bob Petty (Anne), Randy Scott (and family), and Tommy Scott ( passed away); sisters, Lorraine Scott (and family) and Karen Petty (and family); as well as various grandchildren, cousins and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
