Michael Robert McQueen, 67, passed away October 9th, 2017. He was born August 30th, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a member of the MLB Alumni Association and was a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds baseball teams during the 1970s. He enjoyed to go bowling and was a friend to everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maureen (Taylor) and Robert McQueen. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lisa McQueen; one daughter, Amber Reilly; and one sister, Marilyn Jones and her husband Jim. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th at 11 AM at the Desha First Baptist Church located at 2655 Heber Springs Road with Bro. Josh Swinea officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.
