Mary Anna Strain, 85, passed away August 17th, 2017. She was born February 5th, 1932 in Childress, Texas. She was a member of the Banner Church of Christ for many years. She enjoyed crocheting quilts for her grandchildren, sewing, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Victor Dial and Amanda Lou Dial; one brother, James "Jim" Dial; and three sisters, Montie Lou McAlister, Flora Dial, and Marie Dial. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Jimmie Strain; two sons, Edwin Strain and Irvin Carl Strain; one daughter, Debbie Ann Gilliam; one brother, John Dial of Panama; one sister, Laura Blake of Childress, Texas; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, church family, and many good friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26th at 2 PM at the Banner Church of Christ.
