Mary Jo Lawrence, 89, of Bethesda went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2018. She was born September 2, 1928 to Charles A. Langston and Mary Roberta Smith. She was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church and enjoyed dancing, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lawrence, JR, and four sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Marietta Lawrence Chosewood (Donald), four sons, Dwayne Lawrence, Larry Lawrence (Tracey), Keith Lawrence (Gena) and Kenny Lawrence, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, June 28th from 6-8 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Graveside service will be Friday, June 29th at 10 AM at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery under the direction of Willis Funeral Service.
