Mary Etta (Barber) Davis, died, December 09, 2015 at her home. She was born May 4th, 1930 in Newark, Arkansas, to her parents, William A. Barber and Rosa (Marshall) Barber. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Jackie Davis; one brother, Marshall Barber; five sisters, Blanche Rainwater, Eula Ingram, Eloise Alford, Willie Mae Dyles, Emma Jean Freeman. She survived by her son, William Davis and wife, Lois of Newark; one grandson, Chris Davis of Newark; one granddaughter, Stephanie (Davis) Johnson and husband Joe of Walnut Ridge; three great granddaughters, Kayla Davis of Conway, Hailey Davis of Newark, and Bella Johnson of Walnut Ridge; two brothers, Benny Barber of Newark, Amos Barber of Apache Junction, Arizona; two sisters, Maudie Bridgeman of Newark, Nina Wester of Flagstaff, Arizona. She was a faithful member of the Newark Church of Christ. Memorial Graveside Services will be Friday, December 11, 2015 at Blue Springs Cemetery, Newark, 2:00 p.m. with Danny Blevins officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Home INC, 5515 Walcott Rd, Paragould, Arkansas 72450-3319.
