Mary Patrice Dewitt, 61, passed away December 30, 2016. She was born January 22nd, 1955 in Newport, Arkansas to James Elvis Fortenberry and Elsie Mae (Lindley) Fortenberry. She liked to read and in her earlier years she liked to draw. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David Dewitt; her nephew Alec Fortenberry; an infant sister; and a brother-in-law Barry Falwell. She is survived by her daughter Amanda Steward and her spouse Teri Steward; seven sisters: Joann Hill and her husband Jim, Brenda McCall, Sharon Fortenberry, Melissa Fortenberry, Sue Fortenberry, Wilma Falwell, and Jane McClure; two grandchildren Katherine Steward and Nikola Steward. Visitation will be Thursday, January 5th from 12 PM - 2 PM, with funeral services beginning at 2 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at the Egner Cemetery.
