Marvin Howard Painter Jr., 71, passed away Sunday, October 23rd, 2016. He was born June 12, 1945 in Artesia, New Mexico to Marvin Howard Painter Sr. and Onita Dowell. He was a member of the Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church of Bethesda. He enjoyed work as an artist, he liked to paint and draw. He liked to fish and perform woodwork and make hand-made bookshelves, and he enjoyed motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Ruby Wallace; his father Marvin Howard Painter Sr.; his wife Carolyn Joyce Painter; one brother Billy Don Painter, one sister Kathy Dowell. He is survived by his mother Onita Dowell; two daughters Tamara Henderson and Crystal Ramirez; one half-sister Lila Herndon; four grandchildren: Tye Henderson, Savannah Henderson, Eric Ramirez, and Samantha Turkia; one great grandson Kanon Turkia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
