Mark Morgan Mitchell, 46, of Newark passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Batesville. He was born July 12, 1968 in Helena to Billy Dean Mitchell and Judith Pauline Robinson Mitchell. He was a shipping dock associate for Walmart Distribution and a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Rock. Mark enjoyed life, hunting, fishing and funny stories. Survivors include his parents of Newark; his daughter, Morgan Beth Mitchell Stroope of Terre Haute, IN; two sisters, Melanie Mitchell Thennes of Mayflower and Melinda Mitchell Walker of Rose Bud. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie Morris Mitchell and Margaret Eliza Mitchell; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth Willis Robinson and Pauline Rucks Robinson Services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Rock with Bro. Danny Rodgers officiating. Interment will be at the Sulphur Rock Cemetery in Sulphur Rock. Pallbearers are Lance Mathis, Clay Mathis, Nick Walker, Roger Treadway, Wesley Gage and Paul Henson. Honorary Pallbearers are Dan Scribner, Mark Mobley and Danny Brustrum. Visitation is Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
