Marilyn Elizabeth Cantrell, 78, passed peacefully in her home with her family surrounding her on May 3, 2016. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville for 40 years. She was a long time member of the Masters Gardener Club and was a pilot and a one time member of the Amelia Earhart club. In the most recent years she enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed "Snookie" House of Stuttgart and her mother, Ethel Kauffman of Virginia; and her brother Kelsey House of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years Larry Cantrell of Batesville, Arkansas; her six children: Richard Cantrell of Lakeview, AR, Vicki Plaster of Lone Jack, MO, Mike Cantrell of Cave City, AR, Cyndi Davis of Montgomery, TX, Rhonda "Wee-she" Wieboldt of Coppell, TX, and Becky Bayless of The Woodlands, TX; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; five brothers and three sisters. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday May 7th from 10 AM - 12 PM at Willis Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marilyn's name to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
