Marguerite Henderson, 90, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born in Flines-les-Raches, France, on April 24, 1932, to the late Henry Dupuis and Alma Oliva Josephine (Merlin) Dupuis.

Marguerite enjoyed dancing, bird watching, and gardening. Madame Duez taught French and Physical Education at Jonesboro High School. She was very active, participating in many marathons in Louisiana and Texas, and even held some records. Above all else, she enjoyed chasing after her children and grandchildren.

Marguerite is survived by her son, Robert Duez (Martha); daughters, Alma Lassiter and Flora Flores (Carlos); nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Leon "Frenchie" Duez and Gehl Henderson; and her daughter, Marie Phelps.
