IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louie Keith
Huntington
February 1, 1962 – August 22, 2025
Louie Huntington, 63, of Strawberry, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at home surrounded by the love of his family.
Louie was born on February 1, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Louie Earl Huntington and Jessica Ann Smith. Though his roots were in St. Louis, he made his life and home in Arkansas, where he raised his family and created countless memories.
Louie will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisha Huntington of the home; his children, Whitney (Barkley) Exum, Ryan (Marysa) Huntington, Wendie (Treavor) Briggs, and Nathan (Hannah) Newsom; his mother, Ann Smith; his stepmother, Karen Huntington; his brothers, Tracy (Melissa) Huntington and Nick (Mary) Smith; his sisters, Dana (Rick) Slaughter and Gina Huntington; and his beloved grandchildren, Zach Glass, Hudson Exum, Kennley Exum, JonPaul Exum, Dax Huntington, Jude Huntington, Maddox Bowers, Alaysia Briggs, Treavor Briggs, Elliot Newsom, Madden Newsom, and Jordy Newsom.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louie Earl Huntington.
Louie was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and "Papa." He was the true definition of a provider and protector. Fierce and tough as nails, he lived life all in with an unwavering loyalty to the ones he loved. In his younger years, Louie was known for his wild spirit and larger-than-life energy—stories from those days remain some of the family's favorites to tell. While he could be stubborn and strong-willed, he found his greatest pride in his children and grandchildren, who always knew him as strong, steady, and unforgettable. His humor, boldness, and indelible spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, Arkansas with Jason Ramsey, and Terry Randall officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to John 3:16 Ministries.
