Lottie Candler, 94, of Batesville passed away Sunday June 2, 2019. She was born June 29, 1924 in Huff, AR to Joe and Nettie (Crumb) Elumbaugh. Lottie was a charter member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of more than 50 years, Orie Candler, 4 brothers, 5 sisters, and one son Ronnie Candler. She is survived by one son Alfred D. Candler (Linda) of Sidney, AR, one daughter Derlene Doffin (Dallas) of Batesville, AR, 9 grandchildren:  Roy Candler (Carol), Lorrie Candler, Dennis Candler (Sara), Lottie Doffin, Dyanne Branscum (Michael), Orie Doffin, Lucan Doffin (Lisa), Mikeal Candler, and Jeremie Candler, 11 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Also the family would like to thank the nurses, staff, and physical therapists at Mountain Meadows Health and Rehabilitation in Southside, AR. There will be a visitation from 6-8 PM Tuesday June 4, 2019 and a Funeral Service Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 2PM, both at Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, AR followed by interment at Palestine Cemetery on Hutchinson Mountain.
