Lorene Wilson, 82 of Southside passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 in Batesville. She was born June 28, 1932 in Bethesda to William Jefferson McDuffee and Leora Manuel McDuffee. She was a food supervisor for twenty five years at the Independence County Jail, was of the Baptist faith and loved her family. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Wilson of the home; her son, James Wilson and his wife, Bobbie, of Cave City; two daughters, Pat Moser and her husband, Gary, of Cave City and Teresa Young of Salado; her sister, Willene Bray of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Luke McDuffee and W.J. McDuffee and three sisters, Charlene Mann, Daphane Brightwell and Ann Barton. Services are 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Dewayne Stott officiating. Interment will be in Lee's Chapel Cemetery on Hwy. 25. Pallbearers are David Young, Terry Mann, Joey Bray, Jeremy Moser, Gary Moser and James Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Ron Bates, Dr. Robert Walton and the ICU nurses at White River Medical Center. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
