Lonnie Richard Buchanan, 70, of Pleasant Plains passed away October 5, 2016. He was born April 17, 1946 in St. Francis County to Lon and Ruth Buchanan. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to mess with his cows and he loved animals. He was preceded in death by his parents Lon and Ruth Buchanan and his granddaughter Sarah Bowen. He is survived by his wife Sharon Buchanan; two sons Tommy Costelow and Richard Buchanan; one daughter Tara Smith; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
