Linda Kay Wilson, 68, of Batesville passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in Batesville. She was born April 19, 1945 in Batesville to Inez Pierce and was raised in Limedale. She loved spending time with her grandsons and great niece, Kinsley. Linda enjoyed quilting and sewing. She retired from Townsend of Arkansas where she worked for thirty three years and attended the Compass Church in Batesville. Survivors include two sons, Rick Wilson and his wife Sissy of Oneal and Shane Wilson and his wife Jessica of Springdale; two daughters, Vickie Wilson and Kelli Wilson both of Batesville; three grandsons, Hunter Wilson of Batesville, Dax Wilson and Colin Wilson both of Springdale; two step granddaughters, Shay Moore and Morgan Isley both of Batesville; two brothers, Wayne Pierce and his wife Shirley of Melbourne and Randy Page and his wife Lynn of Batesville; two sisters, Patsy Branscum and her husband Craig of Batesville and Bobbie Reeves also of Batesville; her uncle, J.D. Pierce and his wife Ionice of Batesville; two aunts, Gladys Ray Baker of Independence, MO and Mary Lou Wackerly of Batesville; her nieces, Shannon Greenfield, Crystal Johnson, Kayla Hargrove, Retha Miller, Nannette Holt, Breanna Page and Teresa Brown; her nephews, Shawn Drake, Daryl Page, Jeremy Page, Coty Reeves and Scott Brown; several great nieces, great nephews and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Inez Pierce; one grandson, Zackerie M. Wilson and her grandparents, John and Bertha Pierce. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Compass Church in Batesville with Chad Grigsby officiating. Interment will be in the Barnes Cemetery. Pallbearers are Shawn Drake, Ernie Johnson, Coty Reeves, Jeremy Page, Ryan Hill and Alex Shaw. Honorary Pallbearers are Craig Branscum, Aubrey Brown, Eddie Paul Slisher, Justin Paul McCarson and Dr. Doug Bernard. Visitation is Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
