Linda Lou Montgomery passed from this life Wednesday, October 21, 2015. She was born April 26, 1945 and was the daughter of Andrew Ramsey and Addie Louise Warren. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. At the time of her passing she was a homemaker after retiring from the Arkansas Department of Revenue in Batesville where she served as an office manager for several years. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed gardening, and served as the treasurer of the Batesville Community School Board for over 35 years. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Montgomery; a son Andy Montgomery and his wife Rosa; a daughter, Tammie Montgomery-Crutcher and husband, Kelvin; three brothers, Willis Drinkard Jr., Albert Ray Glenn, and Dewey Drinkard; three uncles and three aunts; a God daughter, Kimeseia Stewart; two grandchildren Enrique and Erik Barragan; and the Warren Family. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her grandparents; Nola and Dewey Williams; and Sam Warren. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 27th from 6-8pm at Willis Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2pm Wednesday October 28th at the Friendship Baptist Church, 460 Dry Run Circle, Batesville, AR 72501 with Rev. Bland officiating.
