Linda Pat Lachance, 77, of Batesville, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Linda was born on December 14, 1945, in Toledo, OR, to the late Ellis Raymond Dowdy and Mildred Modene (Stracner) Dowdy. She was of the Christian faith.

"Our Mom"

Our mom loved her family unconditionally and with all her heart. We were her world followed closely by her fur babies, reading, and sci-fi movies. The simple things made her happy.

Our mom never met a stranger and if you were, you wouldn't be for long. Mom was blessed with the "gift of gab" that she used often and at great length, lol. She approached life with a child-like enthusiasm that was infectious and sweet. She will be dearly missed and forever loved by all who were blessed to have known her. We love you, mommy. "See you in the blink of an eye!"

Linda is preceded in death by both of her parents and 3 brothers. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Tammy Chandler (Thomas), Kathy Rozell (Bill), and Jennifer Lachance (Carl Newton); her 4 grandchildren, Tyler Chandler, Sarah Reynolds (Dustin), Vicki Sharma (Sumit), and Brandi Fiedler (Zach); and her 3 great-grandchildren, Kinsley Chandler, Clara Sharma, and Arjin Sharma.
