Linda Gail Cossey, 68, of Batesville, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 in Batesville. She was born June 12, 1947 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Alvie Aaron Wolford and Della Lou Hurley Wolford. Linda was a Christian and loved going to Landmark Baptist Church, She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, singing gospel music, gardening, sewing and making quilts. Survivors include her son, Steven Bower, of Batesville, one daughter, Kathy Wilburn. Of Bertram Texas, one brother, Jerry Glen Wolford, of Illinois, two sisters; Sheila Williams, of Batesville, and Sherry Wolford, of Searcy, one grandson, Timothy Ragan, of Bertram Texas, one great grandson, Bryce Ragan, of Lakeway Texas, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Alvie Wolford, Della Lou Wolford, one brother, Terry Wolford, and one sister Glinda Gail Wolford. Graveside services will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Doc Spurlin officiating. Honorary pallbearers are; Steven Bower, Timothy Ragan, Mike Wiburn, Michael Bonds, Jerry Wolford, Aaron Wolford, Jerry Wolford Jr., Scotty Traw, and Jeremy Traw.
