Obituary

Linda Faye Thomas Clark, 64, of Wolf Bayou passed away peacefully at her home on December 17, 2014. She was born on May 15, 1950 in Heber Springs. She was a lifelong member and treasurer of Wolf Bayou Free Pentecostal Church. She loved going to church, spending time with her family and friends and playing games or working puzzles with her grandchildren. She was a friend to everyone she encountered and would always help anyone that needed her without a thought for herself. Linda is survived by her mother, Nellie Watkins of Wolf Bayou; two daughters, Lynn Rose and her husband, Johnny, of Mountain View and Misty Holland and her husband, Donny, of Heber Springs; seven grandchildren, Joseph Stephen, Michael Stephen Jr.,Thomas Rose, Ashton Reynolds, Allison Holland, Krestun Clark and Zackery Holland; four brothers, Doyle Thomas and his wife, Beverly, of Concord, Donnie Thomas and his wife, Frankie, of Concord, JC Thomas of Wolf Bayou and Lonnie Thomas and his wife, Regina, of Drasco; two sisters, Pat Garner of Wolf Bayou and Kathy Duncan also of Wolf Bayou and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Clark Jr.; her son, Thomas Clark; her father, Leroy Thomas; one sister, Barbara Hixon and two sister in laws, Erma Dean Thomas and Bonnie Thomas. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Faith Full Gospel Church in Banner with Reverend Don Cross officiating. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Ben. Pallbearers are Thomas Rose, Michael Stephen Jr., Joseph Stephen, J.J. Thomas, Chance Williams and Paige Carroll. Honorary pallbearers are Zackery Holland, Mark Rainey, Donny Holland, Johnny Rose, Neal Clark and Joey Barker. The family requests friends if they would like to wear something pink to Linda's service in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
