Linda Kay Carlton, 78, passed away on April 12, 2026, in Batesville, AR. She was born on October 18, 1947, in Newark, AR, to the late Don Dugger and Myrtle (Davis) Dugger. Kay was a member of North Heights Church of Christ. She was an English and Gifted and Talented teacher for forty years in Grubbs, Batesville, and Cushman. Kay was also known for her beautiful alto voice and her love for gospel singing and Elvis! Above all else, Kay loved her family and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Kay is survived by her daughters, Lilli Peugeot and Marcy Foster (Chris); grandchildren, Trey Peugeot and Zoe Oram Gallegos; brother, Billy Don Dugger (Cindy); and sister, Donna Sue Carlton. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alva Gene Dugger; and beloved dogs, Muffy and Mitzy.

North Heights Church of Christ will host a visitation on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 1 PM until 3 PM. The celebration of life will follow at 3 PM.
