Les Carroll Edwards, 69, of Batesville passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 in Batesville. He was born December 28, 1945 in Piggott to Lester Edwards and Lillian Parker Edwards. He was of the Church of Christ faith, a self-made engineer, and loved working with Bad Boy Mowers. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Denise Edwards of Batesville; two daughters, Lora Bernice Hynds of Caruthersville, MO and Bethany Denise Edwards of Batesville; one brother, Lester Edwards, Jr of Piggott, and four grandchildren, Matthew Bryant Hynds, Ashlyn Rose Hynds, Hayden Garrett Carter, and Hudson Kellar Grigsby He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Kelly Edwards. Memorial Services will be 6:00 P.M., Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Ed Myers officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Foster, Spencer Grigsby, Nathan Carter, and Mr. Edwards' grandsons.
