Lee Roy York, 84 of Batesville passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 in Batesville. He was born February 2, 1929 in Scottsville, KY to Hulit York and Bonnie Bates York. He worked for Chrysler Automotive and was a fifty year Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents; one infant brother; three brothers, Robert York, Lonnie York and Carl Ray York; two sisters Laura Sue York and Naomi York. Survivors include his wife of thirty two years, Katherine York of the home; two brothers, Alvin C. York of Cave City and Roddy Glenn York of Idaho. There will be a private burial at a later date.
