Larry Gale Gipson, 76, of Cord, AR, died on Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born on September 12, 1947, in Cord, AR, to the late Guy Gipson Sr. and Gaynell (Slayden) Gipson. Larry served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was also part of the Cord Volunteer Fire Department, even serving on the board after his retirement.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents; his brother, Guy Gipson Jr.; and his sisters, Linda Herring, and Debra Doyle. He is survived by his loving wife of a wonderful 52 years, Christine Gipson; his sons, Mark Gipson (Melissa), and Wayne Gipson; his brothers, Wilson Gipson (Carolyn), Denny Gipson (Pam), and Kenny Gipson; his sisters, Margaret Coffey, Darnell Cullum, and Janet Avery; his grandson, Jebediah Gipson; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m., followed by a graveside service, officiated by Bro. Jeff Childers, at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord, AR.
