Larry Joe Cooley, 70, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born on January 23, 1953, in Marion, Indiana to Joseph Cooley and Anna Mae (Brooks) Cooley. Larry loved to hunt and fish when he wasn't working. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family. Larry was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by all those who loved him.

Larry is survived by his wife, Marilyn Cooley; sons, Wesley Cooley, Wade Cooley (Holly), Sam Martin, and Terry Brown (Amy); daughter, Sherry Vest; sisters, Mary Weaver, Terri Rudd (Jim); Agnes Ingram (William), Lisa Cooley, and Linda Copeland (Larry), and Pat Sifford; grandchildren, Alaina Cooley, Wyatt Cooley, Arianna Cooley, Tapanga Whiteaker (Ross), Natalie Adams (Jon Hunter), Tristen Cooley, Novalee Cooley, Tesla Martin, Cody Martin, Tyler Martin, Hannah Vest, Ella Vest, Jesse Harber (Bella), Savannah Harber, Carolina Brown, Annabelle Brown, and Georgia Brown; and great-grandchildren, Tracy Whiteaker, Morgan Whiteaker, Jaxon Adams, Waylon Adams, Kayden Angle, Arrow Harber, and Wilder Harber. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leroy Cooley; sisters, JoAnn Brashers, Geraldine Holt, and Carolyn Brown (Johnny); niece, Sydney Rudd; nephews, Andrew Rudd and Eric Brashers; brother-in-law, Terry Weaver; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

There will be a Visitation at Willis Funeral Service on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 6 PM-8 PM. The Funeral Service, officiated by Larry Sellers, will be Friday, August 18, 2023, at Willis Funeral Service at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Barron Fork Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, AR. Pallbearers are James White, James Liles, Darell Liles, Aaron Byrd, Sam Massey, and Bryan Winkle. Honorary Pallbearers are Jamie Ingram, Jason Holt, Michael Sutterfield, Joe Ingram, Cody Roach, and Ryan Weaver.
