Scheffler
August 7, 1973 – June 3, 2026
Krystal Leighamber Scheffler, 52, of Newport, Arkansas, passed away on June 3, 2026.
Born on September 7, 1973, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Krystal was the beloved daughter of Kathy Gaye Faries and the late Steve Dale Scheffler.
Krystal was a vibrant and caring woman who found joy in life’s simple treasures. She loved spending her time attending yard sales and auctions, expressing her creativity through crafts, and decorating. She adored her beloved boxer dog, Tucker, and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Krystal had a gift for making people feel special and loved, especially on birthdays and holidays. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate those she cared about, always making sure they knew how much they meant to her.
Most importantly, Krystal recently gave her life to Christ and dedicated herself to her faith. Her love, kindness, and generous spirit touched the lives of many, and she was blessed with countless friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Dale Scheffler; her nephew, Johnathan Scheffler; her maternal grandparents, John Chilcett and Cleta Chilcett; and her paternal grandparents, Carl Eugene Scheffler and Viola Scheffler.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of fifteen years, Timothy Swaim; her mother, Kathy Gaye Faries; her four sons, Ryan Grisham, Christian Wing, Cole Mitchell (Ann), and Stevie Scheffler (Eliza); her two daughters, Llyssa Grisham and Lacey Tate (Jonathan); her brothers, Mark Bryan and Clynton Scheffler; her beloved grandchildren, Emery, Asher, Delilah, and twins Aiden and Zeppelin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Krystal’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, creativity, faith, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
