Kenny Gipson, 66, passed away on December 1, 2023. He was born in Newport, Arkansas, on November 9, 1957, to Guy and Gaynell (Slayden) Gipson.

Kenny loved to cook, spend time in his garden, hunt, fish, and watch sports on TV. He also enjoyed playing Rook, although he could be very competitive. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, JeanAnn Gipson; daughter, Brittani Gipson; brothers, Larry Gipson and Guy Gipson Jr.; and sisters, Linda Herring and Debra Doyle. He is survived by his son, Ryan Gipson (Kay); stepson, Heath Combs; stepdaughter, Michelle Simmons; brothers, Wilson Gipson and Denny Gipson; sisters, Margaret Coffey, Janet Avery, and Darnell Cullum; grandchildren, Orin, Brayln, Bailey, Whitney, Bryce, Jaxx, and Elliot; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. A graveside service, officiated by Jeff Childers, will be held following the visitation at Hopewell Cemetery at 2 p.m.
