Kathy Ann Powell, 62, of Batesville passed away June 1, 2016. She was born May 13, 1954 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents James Hayden Wood and Geraldine (Edwards) Wood; and her sister Betty Nash. She is survived by two sons: Scott Powell and his wife Karen of Paragould, and Brent Powell of Batesville; two brothers Gary Wood of Sulphur Rock and Jim Wood of Pangburn; two sisters Barbara Furtaw of Mesa, AZ and Dana Campbell of Sandtown; and one granddaughter Amy Powell; and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday June 4th from 2-4 PM at Willis Funeral Service.
