Kathy Louise Byrd, 58, of Cord passed away October 5, 2016. She was born May 15, 1958 in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to Burgess Ray Tillman and Betty Pearl (Dobson) Tillman. She was a Christian believer and enjoyed doing yard work. She was preceded in death by her parents Burgess and Betty Tillman; her husband Joe Byrd; and several of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Jim Byrd and his wife Felicia Norris; her daughter Kathy Jo Winberry and her husband Danny; five brothers: Paul Tillman, Lloyd Tillman, Wayne Tillman, Leon Tillman, Danny Tillman; and one sister Pearl Knighten; two grandsons Eric Byrd and his wife Sam and Jacob Byrd; and one great granddaughter Ariahna Byrd; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2016 from 6-8 PM and the funeral service will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Ricky Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Charlotte Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Roger Brewer, Stanley Sanders, Ty Hunter, Tim West, Kenneth DeLoach, and Boddy Tunstall.
