Kameron Jenea Bethel was born on June 9, 1982, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Dr. Johnny Bates and Tonya Duncan. She passed away on September 30, 2026.

Kameron was a loving mother, a caring nurse, and a woman who loved life and people wholeheartedly. Family was the most important thing to her. She was known for her love for others and her willingness to put their needs before her own. Kameron sacrificed so much for her children.

She was the proud and devoted mother of six children-three biological and three adopted-whom she loved dearly.

Kameron is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Chris Bethel; her mother, Tonya Duncan; her father, Dr. Johnny Bates; and her stepmother, Trisha.

She is also survived by her children: Brenden Tindell and his spouse, Ronnie Tindell; Ares Bethel; Maria Bethel; Garrett Bethel; Eli Bethel; and Orion Bethel. She leaves behind her brother, Bron Bates, and his wife, Amber; her sister, Karea Savage, and her husband, Paul; and her sister, Somyr Abbott, and her spouse, Tristan, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Kameron was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry Edward Bates and Margaret Bates of Alabama, and her maternal grandparents, Elvin Duncan and Nell Duncan of Bald Knob, Arkansas.

Kameron’s love for her family, her dedication to her children, and her caring spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 5 PM until 7 PM, at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville, AR, with cremation to follow.
