Julie Bernice Taylor Johnson, 81, of Batesville passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Batesville. She was born October 24, 1932 in Pumkin Bend to Roddy Taylor and Hazel Pirtle Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of the Batesville First Church Of The Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, John Johnson of the home; four daughters, Brenda Shelton of Neosho, MO and her husband Harry; Glenda Elms, Diane Barber, Lillie Howard and her husband Lacy all of Batesville; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers and one son, Johnny Johnson.
Services will be 10:00 A.M.,Saturday, February 1, 2013 at Batesville First Church Of The Nazarene with Ed Heppe officiating. There will be a private burial at a later date. Pallbearers are Keith Stephens, Josh Stephens, Josh Goodin, Kevin Girtman, Michael Mobley, Tyler Goad and Chris Howard. Honorary Pallbearers are Travis Goad, Harry Shelton, Dub Johnson, Steven Pierce, Lacy Howard, Jordan Stephens and Corey Martin.
Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 31, 2014.
