Judy Ann Burgess passed away on January 31, 2022, in Batesville, AR at the age of 69. She was born in Heber Springs, AR on July 28, 1952, to the late Grady and Ruby (Grady) Petty. Judy worked as a Nurse's Aid for many years. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and belonged to the Church of God of Prophecy in South Side, AR. Judy enjoyed arts and crafts, such as crocheting, drawing, and ceramics. She loved to cook for her and her husband Jack and loved collecting shoes and purses. Judy was a very strong-willed woman and anything she set her mind to she would do it. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose memory will forever be kept by those that love her.

She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Jack Burgess; daughters, Jennifer Johnson, Tiffany Crow, Haley Burgess, and Kady Burgess; sons, Marty Burgess, John Burgess, Devin Burgess, and Jack Burgess; many grandchildren; one great-grandchild, Xander Crow; a host of nieces and nephews; and her church family. Judy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sheena Petty; and son, Daryl Burgess.
