Jose Perez-Lopez, 79, of Batesville, AR, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Jose was born in Atemajac de Brizuela, Jalisco, Mexico, on November 18, 1946, to the late Reyes Perez and Maria del Refugio Lopez Solorzano. Jose was of Catholic faith and attended mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Batesville. In his younger years, Jose enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting, and was an avid coffee drinker, regardless of the time of day. Jose was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to know and love him.

Jose is preceded in death by both of his parents; his son, Jose Perez; his two sisters, Gabriela Perez and Marina Perez; and his stepbrother, Reymondo Perez. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria L. Bautista De Perez; his two sons, Juan D. Perez and Reyes Perez; his 7 daughters, Blanca D. Perez, Susana De Haro, Elizabeth Perez, Patricia Perez, Maria Casiano, Josefina Perez, and Veronica Perez; his 6 sisters, Reinalda Perez, Estela Perez, Imelda Perez, Laura Perez, Herminia Perez, and Teresa Perez; and several other extended family members and friends.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel, from 2 PM until 4 PM.
