John Richard Wylie of Carthage, Arkansas passed away on August 4, 2026, in Batesville, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John E. Wylie Jr. and Lucille Ramsey Wylie.

He proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by his children: Amy Cunningham (Tim), Jason Wylie (Robyn), and Julie Johnson (Robert); his grandsons: Tyler Cunningham (Ashley), Austin Cunningham, Levi Wylie (June), and Brayden Johnson; and his great‑grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brothers: Jerry Wylie (Anita), James Wylie (Cathy), and Jeffrey Wylie (Pauline); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held.
