John Luther Chastain, 40, passed away September 24th, 2016. He was born November 24, 1975 in Searcy, Arkansas to William Julius Chastain and Regenia (Stanley) Matheney. He enjoyed being outdoors. He liked to hunt, fish, and collect guns. He was preceded in death by his father William Chastain; his grandparents Marvin and Doris Stanley, and Luther and Loujean Chastain; two uncles Marvin Stanley and Bryon Chastain. He is survived by his mother Regenia Matheney; two step-sons Ashely Warren and Coty Warren; two sisters Mechell Crymes and Kristy Chastain; three nieces Shelbi Gilbert, Makayla Chastain, and Laney Chastain; one nephew Sean Gilbert; one great nephew Bo Gilbert; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be Tuesday September 27th from 6-8 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Graveside services will be Wednesday September 28th at 10 AM at the Roosevelt Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mr. John to St. Jude's Hospital.
