John Albert Baum, 62, of Batesville passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Batesville. He was born January 8, 1953 in Rock Island, IL to Ronald Baum and Alberta Roberts Baum. He served in the Army and as a law enforcement officer. John was a collector of guns and a proud supporter of the NRA. Survivors include three daughters, Amanda Boren of Batesville, Ashley Green of Pleasant Plains and Alicia Barber of Floral; one brother, Ronnie Baum of IL; one sister, Dianna Plaza of IL and eight grandchildren, Haley Quearry, Lorelai Bagwell, Brooklyn Boren, Caleb Boren, Taigen Green, Jaidyn Green, Jace Green and Jaxson Barber He is preceded in death by his parents There will be a memorial service at a later date.
