Joe Henry Yeager, 86, passed away on January 14, 2021. He was born on August 24, 1934 in Imboden, AR to Walter C. and Josephine (Price) Yeager.

Joe lived in Batesville for the past 74 years. In his youth, he served our country by working artillery in the Army. Once he got out he worked here in Batesville as a typesetter for the Batesville Daily Guard. Joe was well-liked by everybody that knew him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports, especially baseball and basketball.

He is survived by his nephews, Bill Yeager and Kent Hamilton; niece, Sheila Gosnell; sons, David Ives and Michael Yeager; and sister-in-law, Ruby Yeager. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter C. and Josephine (Price) Yeager; sister, Wilma Hamilton; and brother, William Yeager.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 2 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery.
