Joe Izick Herzig, 83, of Batesville passed away Friday April 5, 2019. Joe was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Joe enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. Joe and his wife Shirley celebrated 47 years of marriage this past Valentines Day. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Pete and Hazel (Parish) Herzig, and his 2 brothers George and Roy Herzig. He is survived by his wife Shirley Dugger Herzig, his sons Rondell Hager (Karen), and Joe Rogers, his daughter Carla Hager Simer, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday April 8, 2019 from 6-8PM at Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, AR. A gravesite service will be held Tuesday April 9, 2019 at 2PM at Barnes Cemetery in Bethesda, AR.
