Joe Phyllis Gould of Batesville, AR passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the age of 71.  Joe was born August 28, 1947, to Joe and Roxie Gould (Richardson) in Batesville, AR. Joe spent the better part of four decades as an over-the-road truck driver being known to his fellow truckers as the Arkansas Ridge Runner, but to his family whom he held in his highest regard he was known as a loving Husband, Dad, and Pawpaw. Joe is proceeded in death by both his parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. Joe is survived by his best friend and partner of 52 years,Martha Gould, along with his five sons: Joey (Keitrenah) Gould, Kris Gould, Brian (Chasity) Gould, Jason (Kellie) Dease, Robert Davis, his daughter Becky Clark, 13 grandkids, and 13 great-grandkids. Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation at 4 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Burial services will be private.
